i almost thought about giving a good review, until i noticed the first-floor room with a view of a hallway—so thrilling, not! the bed was as hard as a rock and maybe i misunderstood the definition of privacy in a bathroom that's half-covered. i woudl have appreciated some basic compensatory gesture for my troubles. astonishing!

the hotel was in a fantastic spot, just a short walk from the Wallraf-Richartz Museum and the Cologne Chocolate Museum which made it super easy to embrace the local art and treats during my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home as I returned from my daily adventures.

the location was amazin, right near the waterfront and the ubahn stop! I loved the stocked mini fridge and the coffee maker in the room. the staff were super helpful with directions and even lent us an umbrella when it rained. the wifi was great and the room was really comfy. everything felt new and clean, just perfect for our stay.

Comfortable room, convenient location, the hotel was right in the heart of the action near the waterfront and a ubahn stop, providing easy access to explore the city, and the stocked mini fridge and excellent wifi helped make our stay even better.
